Zoo Day

After the Rose Garden, we decided to head to the zoo -- a first for Ken and Katie. We went because we wanted to walk around but lacked the appropriate trail shoes. So off we went, only to be stopped by the $17 admission charge (each). Instead, we chose the family pass. For $79, we got free admission for all three of us for a year. Great choice for a possibly-screaming-at-any-time child. Especially since we just wanted to go in for a bit at 3:30 p.m.

The picture doesn't do it justice. She looks like she was attacked by mini paintballs.

Still she's happy and seemed to like spinach. Plus, she took her first steps (with help) tonight. Looks like she'll walk before crawl at this point.

Chompers

Katie has her two bottom teeth and it seems a top one is coming in based on the recent screaming, drooling, chewing and lip sucking.

She woke up screaming a couple times last night. Tylenol seems to work but I hope it pops through soon. She seems confused why she's hurting. Breaks my heart even though it is obviously super common.

She's also loving to stand and will use whatever chance she gets to stand with assistance.
