5 months plus
She's awesome. Love that girl. She's eating solid food once a day. In order, her preference seems to be
1. Pears
2. Peas
3. Pumpkin
4. Carrots
I always wondered how people knew the preferences and thought it was made up but, no lie, you can tell by the look on her face, the speed to which she returns to the spoon and how long she'll eat said food. In todays taste test, peas were met with smiles while carrots were spit out. Apparently they do not always go together.
Here's peas
And here's carrots
Note the carrot chin-stache absent from peaville
Otherwise things are going well. She's getting stronger, smiles a ton and does raspberries often. Tummy time is getting comfortable too which signals a new stage coming, not that I'd know but it just feels different
Tummy time
Tonight
Looking forward to coming months: sitting up, visit by my folks, etc

Nice baby-on-the-shoulders picture. We have a couple pics where my hubby is doing the same thing - it's too cute! Lovely family you have there.
She's so cute! If you guys ever have a baby boy, please don't circumcise him! Have you ever seen it (they have videos of it on youtube)? It's horrific and apparently babies can bleed to death because of it (rare, thankfully).
The circ rates are now about 50/50 so no need to worry about the "odd man out" locker room syndrome anymore.
Just please research it. Baby girls are protected against genital mutilation here in the US, shouldn't boys be too?
