I heard that interview! That event is a flashbulb memory for me -- I remember that night like I do the challenger exploding. We were living at the Church's in Newberg. We had just gotten pizza and it was raining that night. I ran to Home Depot to pick up some ebony stain for the buffet I was refinishing. I sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes outside that store just mesmerized by her voice and what she was saying. Wow.
